Responsibilities of District Heads





Gao Yun

District Head

In charge of overall administration of the district and responsible for government personnel, public finance, taxation, auditing and paramilitary forces

Shen Huadi

Deputy District Head

In charge of commerce, food, finance, informatization, intellectual property rights, technology, tourism, production safety, quality supervision, administrative approval, the administrative service center, industrial parks, supply and marketing cooperatives, and relations with associations of industry and commerce, customs, inspection and quarantine departments and associations for science and technology.

Li Yuan

Deputy District Head

In charge of education, healthcare, family planning, the Red Cross, sports, culture, radio and television, women and children's committee, affairs involving overseas Chinese, Taiwan people, ethnic minorities and religious groups, and food and drug administration assistance

Zhu Jianjiang

Deputy District Head

In charge of agriculture, food and drug supervision, labor and social security, foreign affairs, legal affairs, government affairs, relations with trade unions, the Communist Youth League, the Women's Federation, the archives and weather bureau

Cai Xiaofei

Deputy District Head

In charge of urban construction and management, city planning and land management, housing management, afforestation, environmental protection, water affairs, transportation, civil defense, new town and rail traffic construction

Zhou Wenjie

Deputy District Head

In charge of human resources and social insurance, civil administration, management of retirees and the disabled, judicial affairs, and letters and calls. He also assists in the management of the people's armed forces

Xing Peiyi

 Deputy District Head

In charge of public security, national security, fire control, traffic safety and migrant population management

Lu Zufang

Deputy District Head

In charge of foreign affairs, legislative affairs, State-owned enterprises, food security, quality supervision, government office administration, publicity, International Auto City, and relations with the federation of trade unions, the youth league committee, the women’s federation, and the archives bureau and weather bureau.



Jiading Fahua Pagoda

The Fahua Pagoda, 40.8 meters tall, is a square, brick-wood structure with seven stories, accessible by ladders.
