( ) 2013-07-12

Shanghai Ericsson Simtek Electronics Ltd, located in Fuhua Industrial Park of Jiading District, Shanghai, is a joint venture established in 1996 by the Swedish Ericsson Corporation and Shanghai Simtek Industrial Ltd. It specializes in designing, producing and selling power modules and RF modules.

Since Ericsson first introduced small DC/DC power modules in 1983. The company has produced more than 30 million power modules. Currently, Ericsson produces 13 series of isolated power modules and seven series of non-isolated power modules. The products are mainly sold to the communications, computer, medicine, industrial control, railway, aviation, space and military sectors. In 2001, Ericsson introduced the first lead-free power module PKD series. It has been developing new lead-free products, thus solidifying its leading position in the next-generation environment-friendly power modules.

Shanghai Ericsson Simtek Electronics Ltd has passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification. It comprehensively introduced the 6-Sigma quality control system; all its products must pass 100 percent ATE test, high-pressure test and aging test in the course of production and must pass AQL ex-factory sample inspection to ensure their quality. This is a reflection that Ericsson is confident of the quality of its products and honors its commitment to the customers.
