Jiading's tallest building to start trail operation

The Hyatt Regency, the tallest building in Jiading district, Shanghai with a height of 196 meters, is set to start its trial operation in August.

The hotel has 304 guest rooms ranging from 40 square meters to 262 sq m in size, including 23 suites, four executive suites and one presidential suite, as well as a 1,100-sq-m banquet hall which can accommodate 1,100 guests for a cocktail party or 660 people for a round-table banquet at the same time.

A multifunctional conference room, restaurants, bar, cafeteria, 25-meter-long indoor swimming pool and massage baths are also available for guests in the hotel.

The hotel is eye-catching not only for its height and well-equipped facilities, but also for its stunning outlook design and exquisite interior decorations.

The outlook of the building was designed by Tadao Ando, a world famous Japanese architect who won the  Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1995.

The interior design of the hotel was by Wilson Associates, a company founded in 1971 in Dallas, the United States, which specializes in interior architectural design, and combines the typical cultural elements of Jiading and modern aesthetics for the hotel.

Jiading Fahua Pagoda

The Fahua Pagoda, 40.8 meters tall, is a square, brick-wood structure with seven stories, accessible by ladders.
