( ) 2018-08-07

The local government of Jiading district, Shanghai has been continuously developing its public cultural facilities both online and offline in recent years to provide residents in the district with better cultural services.

Wen Jun, professor of East China Normal University, said that developing public cultural facilities in Jiading, which is a suburb of Shanghai, could not only help meet local residents' cultural needs, but also help to create a suburban cultural circle, and go some way to relieving Shanghai's problems caused by the imbalance between a rising population and limited urban resources.

So far, a total of nearly 400 public cultural facilities have been made available for people in Jiading district. Here is a rundown of some of them.
