Tan Weishi, born in June 1971, is a male of Han ethnicity from Yiyang, Central China's Hunan province. Tan entered the workforce in March 1990. Tan is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiading District Committee, head of the People's Armed Forces Department of the CPC Jiading District Committee, and deputy secretary of the CPC Jiading District Committee. He manages the people's armed forces.
