The two new medium-risk areas are No 9 Jumen Road of Huangpu district and No 760 Loutang Road of Jiading Industrial Zone. There are currently 10 medium-risk areas in the city.

Lu Taohong, deputy director of the municipal health commission, said the city reported 38 new infections on Monday, with 34 being asymptomatic.

Wang Xiaojie, deputy director of the municipal transport commission, said that airports and railway stations have been notified to test every traveler departing the city, and those who cannot produce a negative test result within 48 hours will be denied exit.
