Shanghai Zhongke High-Tech Industrial Park is a significant park of the "One District, Six Parks" set up by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the State Council. It is also a national high-tech products export base and an APEC Park certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The park is a practical base for CAS high-tech industrialization, relying on the comprehensive technological advantages of the CAS and the financial strength of the Jiading industrial zones. It focuses on the development of optical communication, new materials, and optical-mechanical integrated design.
Currently, leading high-tech enterprises that have registered in the park include Shanghai Simgui Technology Co Ltd, Rae Systems, Aopu Optical Communication Co Ltd, Shanghai Zhipu Electronics Co Ltd, Dragon of the Century and DDK.
With complete infrastructures, rich energy and good investment environment, the park has an area of 30 hectares and many different kinds of workshops of different standards. It also introduces many preferential policies for investors, including zero leasing, rent subsidies and the State Council’s preferential policies on encouraging high-tech investment.
