Shanghai Cultural Information Industrial Park (Oriental Wisdom Valley) is a cultural information industrial base established with the approval of the publicity department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the people's government of Jiading district. It is the first large high-tech enterprise gathering zone featuring the integrated development of the modern cultural industry, information industry and creativity industry.
The park covers an area of 40 hectares, including 500,000 sq m of garden industrial park in the style of regions south of the Yangtze River. It also includes 40,000 sq m of water landscapes, 75,000 sq m of green area, and sound supporting facilities. The park cost 3 billion yuan ($490 million).
The park is located at the Bao'an Road entrance to the ring road of the Shanghai-Jiading Highway (A12) and in the downtown area of the planned new area of Jiading district. It is adjacent to rail transit Line 11 and is only about 15 minutes by car to downtown. In addition, it takes only 15 minutes to get to Hongqiao International Airport and 45 minutes to Pudong International Airport by car. The park can reach all cities in the Yangtze River Delta within two hours by car. It boasts a large cultural information and creativity industry park with the most convenient transport in Shanghai.
Enterprises in the park will enjoy tax preferences and policy support provided by Jiading district in addition to national and Shanghai municipal preferential policies for the cultural information and creativity industry. The district will give financial support for the park's domestic and foreign enterprises that pay district business taxes, added-value taxes, and business income taxes in accordance with related regulations.
