Nearly 10,000 job seekers tried to land a job at a job fair held in Jiading district, Shanghai, on Oct 27.
Roughly 200 enterprises and public institutions were on site to offer more than 1,000 kinds of jobs, including 555 technical, 299 managerial and 254 assistant jobs. Employers expected to hire nearly 3,500 people. About 2,100 applicants found good opportunities and may get the chance to sign formal contracts with employers in the future.
In addition, the fair also provided consulting services, discussing startup guides, job recommendations, training and labor laws.
The fair was organized by Jiading’s human resources and social security bureau and other employment service centers.
