The Jiading district of the city of Shanghai has decided to provide lessons on basic life skills for kindergarten, primary and middle school students to help them, for example, deal with stress, communicate better with other people, lead a healthier life, and make the right decision in different situations. There have been 37 of the district’s schools in all taking part in the project.
These sorts of lessons can already be found in foreign countries, such as the US, where they are called “Health and Happiness”, or Germany, which teaches “Ethics”.
