A new residential building named MAX Future in Jiangqiao town, Shanghai’s Jiading district, has witnessed brisk sales recently. More than 70 percent of its first-phase 230 apartments have been sold since April 26, setting a record in Shanghai’s real estate market.
The project was developed by Changjiu Group and covers a construction area of 100,000 square meters, offering more than 1,000 commercial and residential apartments. The main apartments are two-floor lofts of 40 to 55 square meters with 4.5-meter ceilings. The ground floor has a kitchen, a bathroom, a desk, a dining table for three people and a sofa.
A ladder leads to the top floor, where there are bedrooms, hidden bathroom and wardrobe. A sliding wall can be pulled open into a storage room, and most of the furniture can be folded away. The whole space can shift into an office or living room. The flexible apartment can meet the needs of young people’s families for decades.
Officials said the project has become a landmark residential area for young people. Its services have been recognized by owners. In addition, the project has many auxiliary facilities, such as a climbing wall, basketball court, bookstore and karaoke bar to enrich the residents’ spare time.
