Tongji University of Shanghai recently opened a branch of its cross-Straits cultural creative research and development center in Xuhang town of Jiading district to attract more cultural creative experts and projects to settle in the town.

With the aim of cultivating people specialized in cultural creative industry operation, the center was jointly founded by a number of fund platforms, enterprises and university cultural creative incubation bases from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
The two parties also signed a letter of intent to jointly build a cultural creative park in the town, which will be an arena to hold international cultural creative summits and exchange activities between cultural creative organizations.
Despite the town’s regional and economic disadvantages in attracting excellent experts, enterprises and projects, Xuhang has continued providing financing and HR services for start-up businesses. The cooperation with Tongji University will not only fulfill the demand of company development, but also facilitate the transformation of the local industry.
