A health delegation of five people from Victoria state, Australia, paid a visit to the Jiading district in Shanghai to discuss cooperation opportunities about the community health services on July 23.

The delegation headed by Jon Evans, the director of the transformation initiatives unit at the state's health and human services department, visited general clinics, care units for the senior people and the Chinese medicine clinic at the community health service center of the Jiading Industrial Zone.

Lyn Morgain, the chief executive of Cohealth, a community health service in Victoria, briefed the Jiading health officials about Cohealth's management and service models. Both sides had wide-ranging talks on such issues as family doctors, mental health and chronic disease prevention and control, agreeing facilitate mutual cooperation in those fields.
