A group of delegates from South Korea's small and medium-size enterprises (SME) visited an industrial base of the Shanghai National Technology Transfer Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Xuhang town, Jiading district, on Feb 2, local media reported.
The event was sponsored by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development and the Korea department of SMEs. Their intention was to help the country's enterprises go global.
According to the delegates, they expected to gain a better understanding of the Chinese market and seek cooperation with some of China's industrial parks though this visit.

Jiading officials welcomed the delegation and briefed them about the latest development of the district's industries.
The Korean delegates also presented six entrepreneurship programs, covering fields such as medical treatment, electronics, creative culture and animation. The delegates said that they hope the presentation will draw Chinese investors' attention.
