An exhibition combining caravans and intangible cultural heritages debuted in Nanxiang town, Jiading district of Shanghai during the past National Day holiday.

A great number of inheritors, active in Nanxiang Xiaolongbao (steamed buns), dough modeling, paper cutting, and wooden painting, were involved in the exhibition.

They used caravans as their temporary studios and showed visitors exquisite techniques of those traditional crafts.

Visitors were also able to taste delicious xiaolongbao in the caravans, watch a promotional film of intangible cultural heritages, and enjoy a Han costume fashion show.

The event, staging a variety of activities, was aimed at increasing the national exposure of the intangible cultural heritages and attracting more cultural and creative companies to move to Nanxiang.
