The China Alliance of Auto Innovation Incubators recently struck a deal with seven auto manufacturers and auto parts companies during the LINC Carsmas Day, a fair for global auto makers, local media reported on Feb 17.

The seven partners include China's auto giants such as SAIC Motor and Geely Auto, top emerging auto companies such as Chery New Energy and NextEV, and US-based auto parts manufacturer Delphi Automotive. The deal aims to enhance cooperation between auto startups and already established companies.

According to the deal, the alliance will serve as a bridge between the seven large companies and auto startups settling down at alliance incubators. The alliance will present large companies' R&D requirements to startups and also introduce startups' technological advantages to large companies. This mutual cooperation hopes to help the development of startups.

The China Alliance of Auto Innovation Incubators, founded in the Shanghai International Automobile City in Jiading's Anting town in August 2016, has the mission of serving auto startups in multiple aspects including startup project selection, training, talent development, and fundraising.

It now has 20 members, covering Anting-based Auto Innovation Park, Wuhan-based Auto Innovation Space, and Plug&Play.
