3. Juyuan Old Tea House
Juyuan Old Tea House, jointly established by Jiading's propaganda department and Juyuan New Area in Jiading district, is a place combining tea drinking, performance watching, and communication.
It provides quyi and tea art performances and other traditional activities showcasing local culture for the audience.
Quyi is a traditional Chinese art form covering a variety of categories such as ballad singing, storytelling, comic dialogue and Chinese crosstalk.
Jiading district is well-known for its strong traditional culture with local characteristics, and quyi has been promoted and popularized in the district in recent years. It was the fourth place around the country to be awarded the title "Famous Quyi City in China" in 2018.
