Shanghai's Jiading district will do more to optimize its business environment, the district authority announced at a working conference on Feb 15.
The authority unveiled a working plan on strengthening approval service and a table that breaks down the tasks of implementation of plans for business environment optimization. Those plans include 32 measures covering eight main areas. Ten measures are newly added, and 22 are old ones reformed and innovated.
Zhang Xi, Party secretary of Jiading district, stressed the importance of optimizing the business environment at the conference. He noted that Jiading has made the task a priority since 2018, deepening the reform of "simplification of administrative procedures, devolution of powers, combination of devolution and regulation, and optimization of services", pushing forward the construction of a unified e-platform, boosting opening-up and driving the development of private economy. The measures are aimed at offering a legal, international and convenient business environment.
According to Zhang, Jiading will continue efforts to improve the business environment by implementing the district plan based on Shanghai's reform measures, studying successful experiences, integrating government service platforms, and simplifying administrative procedures while highlighting Jiading features.
