The entrusted management signing ceremony of Jiading New City experimental middle and primary schools was held in the comprehensive office building on April 9. Yao Wei and Yao Xiaohong, directors of the Jiading and Huangpu education bureaus, signed the agreement.
According to the agreement, the management work of Jiading New City experimental middle school and primary school will be respectively entrusted to Shanghai Datong Junior High School and Shanghai No 2 Penglai Road Primary School from the 2019 school year.
The two schools from Huangpu district will provide comprehensive guidance and resource support in school management, curriculum, team building and teaching and research for Jiading New City experimental middle school and primary school based on their concept of school administration, to help the new schools rapidly improve their management level and education quality.

Li Yuan, deputy director of Huangpu district, hoped that Shanghai Datong Junior High School and Shanghai No 2 Penglai Road Primary School might come to exemplify the entrusted management experience, creating a brand of Huangpu quality education.
Wang Hao, deputy director of Jiading district, expressed his gratitude for Huangpu's concern for and support of education of Jiading.
"The Jiading district government will give strong support to the two new schools in terms of hardware, human resources and related policies. It is hoped that with the help of Datong Junior High School and No 2 Penglai Road Primary School, the two new schools will rapidly upgrade in terms of characteristic curriculum construction and basic management level," Wang said.
Jiading New City experimental middle and primary schools started construction at the end of 2017, and will open in September this year. Currently the recruitment of full-time teachers in the two schools has been basically completed, and work on engineering construction and equipment procurement has been steadily carried out.
