A forum on cooperation and communication in the construction of Yangtze River Delta corporate culture opened on May 31 in Jiading district.
Representatives from the publicity department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ideological and Political Work Research Journal, the ideological and political work society of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, the municipal publicity departments and ideological and political work societies, some 100 large companies and corporate-culture-construction-advanced units of the Yangtze River Delta region, attended the forum.
At the forum, Wu Zuping, deputy inspector of the Chinese Society of Ideological and Political Work (CSIPW), said that the ideological and political work society of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces shall implement the national strategy of promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, focus on the missions of upholding the flag, uniting the people, cultivating new talent, making culture flourish and promoting a positive image.

Lu Fangzhou, head of Jiading district, noted that Jiading has partnered with Suzhou on Jiading-Kunshan-Taicang innovative development and also worked with Wenzhou on a demonstration area aimed at furthering integration.
"So far, Jiading has made significant progress in industrial cooperation, cultural communication and social governance. The district will continue efforts to combine local culture and corporate culture in a bid to transform enterprises into the major driving force of quality economic development."
In addition, 13 representative companies from Yangtze River Delta areas, including Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Co, Masteel Group and iFLYTEK, presented their company image and achievements in corporate culture construction via short videos and speeches.
During the forum, a framework agreement on cooperation and communication in the construction of Yangtze River Delta corporate culture was signed. The union of the innovative culture brand of Yangtze River Delta companies was launched by 100 advanced units, with the logo unveiled as well.
The second Yangtze River Delta Corporate Culture Forum is expected to take place in Hefei, Anhui province in 2020.
