Two major industrial headquarter projects were launched on Nov 25 in Anting town, Jiading district, Shanghai to fuel Jiading's new-energy automobile industry.

One of the projects - the Horiba (China) Headquarters Base – is an omportant part of the Jiading Hydrogen Park at a total cost of 500 million yuan ($71.02 million).
Established in 1945, Horiba is a Japanese manufacturer of precision instruments for measurement and analysis. The company established its Jiading branch 17 years ago.
Covering an area of 2.05 hectares, the project integrates headquarters offices, a research and development center, and an equipment production base.

The project is scheduled to be completed in June 2021, and will earn estimated annual sales revenue of 320 million yuan.
The Kostal Asian Headquarters New Plant covers an area of 5.36 hectares and includes headquarters buildings, a research and development center, and new factories.
The Kostal (Shanghai) R&D Center will become one of the three global R&D centers of Kostal Group.
The plant is expected to have an annual output of about 4 billion yuan, sales revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, and tax revenue of more than 400 million yuan by 2021.
The Germany-based Kostal Group develops and manufactures technologically complex electronic and mechatronic products.
"Anting town in Jiading is the first place in China that Kostal Group has invested in. Over the past 20 years, the company has invested a total of six billion yuan in Jiading, 116 times the initial investment," said Andreas Kostal, chairman of Kostal Group.
