The Waigang Substation of the Jiading Medical Emergency Center officially began operating on June 28, improving the quality of pre-hospital emergency care.
Pre-hospital emergency medical care means providing timely and effective services for patients in critical condition before they arrive at the hospital. It has been shown to significantly increase rescue success rates.
Pre-hospital care involves first aid, on-site rescue, and emergency treatment during transit and monitoring before the patients are delivered to medical institutions.
According to local news report, the substation is located in a nursing home in Waigang town, increasing the quality of senior care.
Local authorities have said that Jiading will establish more pre-hospital emergency centers in townships and improve the quality of pre-hospital care in township hospitals in an effort to improve basic medical care.
