Jiading-based Xiaoi Robot Technology released its three latest products at the 2020 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) which opened in Shanghai on July 9.
The products, which make use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, will help traditional industries achieve digital growth.
Xiaoi Robot Technology is a leading AI technology company which focuses on the research and development (R&D) of intelligent robots and has helped expedite the industrialization of intelligent robots.
According to statistics, the company's R&D staff account for nearly 60 percent of its total employees, and its R&D expenditures account for 30 to 50 percent of its revenue.
Xiaoi Robot Technology has provided more than 1,000 global companies with advanced AI products since it launched its AI business in 2004. To date, it has been granted over 150 invention patents and boasts more than 1,000 application scenarios.
Jiading authorities said that in recent years, the district has been stepping up efforts to promote the design and manufacturing of chips. Jiading is currently home to a number of outstanding start-ups in intelligent manufacturing, including Xiaoi Robot Technology and Wangsu Science & Technology Company.
Statistics show that in the first five months of this year, the output value of the district's AI and intelligent manufacturing enterprises totaled 2.11 billion yuan ($301.52 million).
In the future, Jiading will further emphasize the development of the AI industry and introduce more leading companies with key technologies, aiming to accelerate the commercialization of AI in fields such as finance, transportation, and medical care.
