Construction was completed on the production base of the China headquarters of Horiba, an advanced analytical instruments and systems producer from Japan, on June 21. It will be put into use in the first half of 2022.
Located on Chunxiu Road in Anting town, Shanghai's Jiading district, the 33,200-square-meter production base integrates development, production, and after-sales service.
The production base will provide globally advanced analytical instruments and products to customers all over the world, covering fields like automotive engine exhaust emission testing and environment monitoring, as well as semiconductor manufacturing and metering.
With a total investment of 530 million yuan ($81.93 million), the production base is expected to generate 400 million yuan in annual sales revenue.
The design, construction, and operation of the production base integrates advanced concepts and technology from Horiba's Japanese headquarters, as well as forward-looking R&D experiences and the testing technology for storage batteries and fuel cells from the United States and Germany.
