Jiading district's special session of the trade and investment docking meeting that was themed on "technology and intelligent manufacturing" was held at the fourth China International Import Expo on Nov 6.
This is Jiading's first time to hold a promotion event at CIIE, and the district aims to ignite potential investment.
"We formed a team of more than 500 people to attract investment as well as docked more than 900 companies in order to further boost attracting investment at this year's CIIE," said Zhang Min, director of the investment promotion service centre of the district.
Qiu Peng, manager of the Jiading Hydrogen Park, and Xu Liping, general manager of Shanghai Smart Sensor Industrial Park, also gave a detailed introduction of their parks at the meeting.
"We are pushing for more policies such as relaxing the approval of hydrogen storage and photovoltaic electrolytic hydrogenetics," Qiu said.
To date, Jiading district is home to 19 characteristic industrial parks that contain more than 340 companies involved in electrification, connection, intelligence, and sharing of vehicles with an output of 94.29 billion yuan ($14.74 billion) in 2020.
The district is beefing up its efforts to build an industrial layout of intelligent sensors and the internet of things by utilizing automotive electronic chips, the internet of things chips, and high-end medical equipment core chips.
In addition, the district is bolstering the construction of a business environment with supportive policies, investment opportunities, an active market, and legal protection.
