Shanghai's Jiading district was included in the first batch of 31 high-speed rail tourist destinations in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Tourists who travel to Jiading district by high-speed rail can get off at Anting North Station, Anting West Station, and Nanxiang North Station.
Jiading district boasts rich tourism resources, and is home to five 4A tourist attractions, two 3A tourist attractions, six four-star demonstration places for agricultural and rural tourism as well as one three-star demonstration place for agricultural and rural tourism.
While in the district, strolling through Zhouqiao ancient street or Nanxiang ancient town is a good choice, and walking in the countryside to enjoy the ecological scenery is another option. It is also recommended to visit the Shanghai International Circuit and Shanghai Auto Museum to experience the auto industry, which is a symbol of Jiading.
The district is famous for Nanxiang steamed buns, Xuhang steamed rice flour cake, curcuma wine, Jiangqiao mutton, and Malu grapes.
Tourists can choose from Huangdu tomatoes, Xuhang straw weaving, and Jiading bamboo carving for souvenirs.
A variety of brand hotels, such as Hyatt Shanghai Jiading Hotel, Sheraton Shanghai Jiading Hotel, and Ying Yuan Hotel, offer comfortable accommodation to tourists.
