Six Jiading companies were placed on the 2021 private company headquarters list that was released by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce recently, local media outlets reported on Jan 25.
The six companies are Qeeka Home, a marketing and supply chain services provider, Warom Technology Incorporated Company, an explosion-proof electric apparatuses and professional lighting equipment manufacturer and seller, Netmpower, an internet advertising and marketing company, Jiayang Group, a one-stop human resources company, WPG (Shanghai) Smart Water Public Co, an integrated technology company for the water industry, and Shanghai Easun Technology Co, an automation industry solutions provider.
WPG (Shanghai) Smart Water Public Co was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2019 and currently has over 2,000 employees, nearly 400 of which are researchers. The company's revenue in 2020 exceeded 1 billion yuan ($157.32 million).
In addition to WPG, the other five approved private company headquarters all made fruitful operating income results, annual economic contributions, scale, and their positions in the industry.
For instance, Warom Technology Incorporated Company, which is located in Xuhang town in Jiading district, was listed as an A-share company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2017 and achieved 2.28 billion yuan in revenue in 2020.
To date, Jiading district is home to 34 headquarters economy companies. The district will keep bolstering its efforts to develop its headquarters economy by measures like offering supportive policies, encouraging companies to establish headquarters and headquarters institutes in the district, and inspect headquarters.
