Shanghai Zallsteel E-commerce Co, also known as Zall Steel, was founded in 2018 in Nanxiang, Jiading district. It serves as an online platform that provides services for enterprises in the iron and steel industry by gathering supply and demand, logistics and capital information.
The platform has made great success by empowering the industrial chain and enhancing its efficiency. In 2021, Zall Steel's main business revenue reached 30.1 billion yuan ($4.3 billion), and in the first half of this year, the transaction volume on its platform exceeded 100 billion yuan.
The platform helps suppliers directly customize products according to their clients' needs, and clients can use the convenient online service to schedule picking up goods themselves. Currently, customers who use the platform can reduce costs by 6 to 8 yuan per metric ton.
Presently, more than 90 percent of enterprises involved in the iron and steel industry have worked with Zall Steel, which has provided services for more than 200 major projects throughout the country and has been listed as one of China's top 500 private enterprises.
