In 2022, 59,000 new enterprises were established in Jiading, and a total of 37 investment promotion activities were carried out, with 228 projects worth nearly 100 billion yuan ($14.52 billion) being signed.
On Dec 30, 2022, there were 58 projects with a total investment of more than 17 billion yuan signed online. Among them, 88 percent of the enterprises made a total investment of more than 300 billion yuan.
On Nov 19, 2022, representatives from 13 enterprises signed contracts with the Jiading's Xuhang Town government, which included a variety of industrial fields such as sensors and semiconductor and agricultural technology, and the total investment reached 1.54 billion yuan.
On Oct 25, 2022, car company NIO signed a contract with the Jiading's Jiangqiao Town government. According to the contract, NIO's international headquarter, and research and development center will be established in Jiading.

As a significant Jiading industrial town, Anting Town had 8,369 newly registered enterprises, 67 new projects with investment totaling 100 billion yuan, and 13 new municipal-level key projects inked in 2022.
Jiading has been acting as a magnet for major companies with the signing and landing of one excellent project after another, giving its high-quality economic development new life.
