Recently, the plot F10A-01 in the Yuanxiang Lake Central Activity Area in Jiading district has been sold, and it will be the new home of the Shanghai Qingtao R&D Center Project, with an estimated annual output value of 1 billion yuan ($15 million).
The project covers a total land area of 8,311.6 square meters, and a construction area of 41,967.18 square meters.
The project includes the Qingtao New Materials Global Innovation Center, the Solid Power Battery Data Analysis Center and the Qingtao Solid Power Battery Integrated Service Network Platform.
After the completion of Qingtao New Materials Global Innovation Center, industry-university-research cooperation with well-known universities at home and abroad will be implemented based on the existing resources of the East China New Materials Transformation Base to build a new materials innovation platform with an international influence.
The Qingtao Solid State Power Battery Data Analysis Center plans to cooperate with major car manufacturers to study solid state batteries in new energy vehicles for professional processing to provide effective data for the research and development of batteries and key materials.
In addition, it plans to build a comprehensive service network platform for solid state power batteries, which integrates auto sales services, accessory services and information services to provide lifelong service solutions for new energy vehicles in Shanghai.
