Representatives from Jiading district in Shanghai held a promotional conference on Jan 13 and discussed urban construction and development plans.
Two characteristic industrial parks in the district, namely Shanghai Intelligent Automobile Software Park and Shanghai Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park, as well as three key development areas - Jiangqiao town, Nanxiang town and Malu town - were introduced during the event.
Located in Shanghai International Automobile City in Jiading, Shanghai Smart Car Software Park covers a planned area of 3.73 square kilometers. It is a municipal information service industry base and is striving to become leading demonstration park.
Shanghai Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park focuses on making up for the deficit of "China's Chips" to build a smart sensor industry spanning power, light, sound, heat, magnets, and theenvironment. These application fields include intelligent hardware, intelligent driving, and intelligent robot.

Jiangqiao town aims to build a business-oriented comprehensive town in the western suburbs of Shanghai and a cluster of productive service industry enterprises.

Nanxiang town is expected to be built into a famous Chinese historical and cultural town integrating ancient and modern elements, a scientific and technological innovation demonstration zone in the Yangtze River Delta region, and a Jiangnan water town suitable for living, business and tourism. It also boasts an advantageous transportation network.

Malu town is urban and digitally transformation-oriented, and aims to promote the construction of a scientific and technologically innovative headquarters park.
