The North Hongqiao Business District in Shanghai's Jiading district is building quality-excellent industrial clusters, promoting low-carbon new energy automotive chains and making every effort to accelerate the construction of key projects such as the Geely Smart Drive and the AKD Luxury Cars Mall.

Located on Hewang Road, the AKD Luxury Cars Mall has a total area of more than 120,000 square meters and a five-story three-dimensional exhibition hall displaying thousands of renowned cars. It is the second of its kind in China after the one in Shenzhen.
"This project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan ($288 million) and a target annual revenue of 10 billion yuan. We will create some 1,000 new jobs," said Chen Xiangfa, chairman of AKD, adding that with a 24-year history of working in the second-hand car business and having a well-established mechanism of pre-sales, sales and after-sales services, the company hopes to lead the robust development of Shanghai's used car industry in the future.
Chen said that Jiading boasts a comprehensive automotive industrial chain and he can give full play to his gifts in the North Hongqiao Business District.
"We want to serve customers in the Yangtze River Delta region for a long time," Chen said. AKD will provide customers with one-stop services related to financial mortgage, insurance, license plates and high-quality cars through complete facilities, Chen added.
The North Hongqiao Business District is also striving to optimize its industrial structure to boost high-quality economic development by reshaping the fuel cell research and development and production center and Nio's global headquarters project.
