Liu said stop-motion animations are one of China's advantages. China entered the global stop-motion animation market 30 years ago, with works such as Afanti and Calabash Brothers celebrated by foreign film audiences. Making such animations costs much less money and time in China, Liu added.
Leading a team of 15 young stop-motion animation enthusiasts, Liu hopes to create high-quality animations to meet the expanding market demands and enhance the presence of China-made stop-motion animations.
