The 2023 Intelligent Connected Vehicle Show and Automatic Driving Expo took place from Aug 24 to 26 at the Shanghai Automobile Convention and Exhibition Center.
Spanning 30,000 square meters, the expo featured products and services from attracted over 500 enterprises across six exhibition areas.
According to the organizers, the event served as a platform for industry professionals to showcase their innovations in the automatic driving sector and strike up collaborations. The first day of the event drew 10,765 people.

During the expo, Shanghai Tosun Intelligent Technology Co Ltd showcased its core software product, TSMaster, which offers embedded code generation, simulation, testing, and diagnosis capabilities that aid the development and production of autonomous vehicles.
According to sales director Luo Weiguang, the company has made 90 percent of the functions of TSMaster free and open so as to reduce research and development costs for domestic car companies. They are now hoping to deepen exchanges with peers and increase awareness of their products through the expo.

Meanwhile, Vector Automotive Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd presented their futuristic ADAS driver-in-the-loop test system that provides a comprehensive closed-loop environment for testing of advanced driver assistance systems. The system helps optimize vehicle steering performance and algorithms by conducting functional testing and validation, said the company's engineer Yang Yiyang.

Guizhou PIX Moving Intelligent Technology Co Ltd showcased the PIX Robobus, a driverless minibus that is already in use in countries such as the United States and India. Designed for short-distance transportation in urban areas, the vehicle does not have traditional components and can freely travel in narrow neighborhoods. The PIX Robobus can also be customized and used as a shuttle or mobile shop, according to the company's engineer He Jun.
The Global Automatic Driving Industry Conference, which was held during the expo period, featured 120 speeches across 12 conferences that covered topics such as intelligent driving radar, visual camera technology, information security, and functional safety. The conference attracted more than 1,000 attendees on the first day.
