Primary and secondary school students from Shanghai's Jiading district and international students from the SILC Business School, Shanghai University recently gathered at the Recycling Resources Exhibition Hall in Jiading to discuss international environmental protection topics and offer suggestions for an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The activity was recorded as an episode for a local popular program featuring young hosts reporting the news. Since its launch in October 2020, the program has showcased over 200 young hosts and 500 young reporters across 149 episodes.
During the activity, the students showcased their creative eco-friendly products made from recycled materials, turned old boards into decorative items and designed environmental awareness posters.
The international exchange activity was aimed at encouraging young people to embrace ecological civilization and lead a green lifestyle. It provided a platform for young students to engage in meaningful discussions about environmental protection and improve their understanding of sustainability.
