Anting town in Shanghai's Jiading district had rolled out a number of livelihood projects last year to enhance the community's infrastructure and services.
These projects involved the addition of health service stations, the establishment of two "baby houses" that provide childcare services, the expansion of green spaces, the creation of specialized teams that provide rehabilitation services at local health centers, accessibility upgrades for households with disabilities, the establishment of an industrial neighborhood center, renovations of municipal roads, housing renovations and elevator installations, the construction of new and renovated sports facilities, and the establishment of a dedicated fire brigade to enhance fire safety in the area.
These projects have significantly improved the living standards and infrastructure in Anting town.
The Anchi Community Health Service Station, which began operations on April 21, 2023, has served more than 9,000 patients to date. The two "baby houses" have provided childcare services to over 250 families. Local efforts to implement barrier-free renovations for 25 households with disabled family members have also been completed.
