Liu Yiyanyan, a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress and deputy secretary of the Party committee of Z-one Technology Co Ltd, underlined the need for the smart connected vehicle industry to focus on integrating industry, academia, and research.
At this year’s Two Sessions, Liu expressed her commitment to focusing on the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry, particularly in areas such as intellectual property protection and talent cultivation.
Liu said that last year, she was excited to learn that the "Proposal to Accelerate the Cultivation of Talents in the Smart Connected Vehicle Industry" had been designated for special oversight by the National People's Congress, with the Ministry of Education taking the lead.
She said that she felt the timing was opportune for meaningful contributions, given the unprecedented transformation in the automotive industry and the emergence of electric smart vehicles.
Reflecting on her journey as an NPC deputy, Liu said that her understanding of her responsibilities has been enhanced. She had participated in various research projects and inspection activities, which broadened her perspective and deepened her understanding of economic and social development. She is committed to truthfully reflect the voices and desires of the people.
