Around 100 industry associations participated in a visit to Jiading New City in Jiading district, Shanghai, on April 2.

Local officials highlighted Jiading New City's commitment to high-quality development, citing the addition of 11,720 new enterprises and 718 heavyweight projects since 2021, as well as its goal to attract more projects, enterprises, and talent to Jiading to foster mutual growth.
Guan Weiyong, president of the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, emphasized collaborative development and industry-academia-research cooperation and expressed his determination to help enhance Jiading's industries by serving as a bridge.
Jiading is actively promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, focusing on intelligent transformation, digitalization, and collaborative innovation. Efforts are also underway to strengthen industry-finance cooperation, establishing a strategic emerging industry investment fund and innovative models to attract high-quality projects and foreign investment.
During the event, Jiading showcased its industrial layout and business environment, inviting enterprises to join in the development of Jiading New City. The city has become an attractive investment destination, leveraging its industrial foundation and technological capabilities.
Strategic cooperation agreements were signed during the event, signaling deeper collaboration between the Jiading District People's Government and industry associations. Representatives from various associations expressed their interest in building communication platforms, fostering technology industry agglomeration ecosystems, and supporting Jiading's high-quality development.
