The Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix 2024 will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit in Jiading district from April 19 to 21. Zhou Guanyu, China's first F1 driver, will compete in his first home race.

April 19
All drivers will participate in the Formula 1 first practice session and sprint qualifying session. Zhou Guanyu will drive in his first home race.
April 20
The sprint race on Saturday at 11 am is a short version of the Grand Prix. The sprint qualifying session at 3 pm will determine the order of racers on Sunday.
April 21
The Formula 1 Grand Prix’s starting pistol will fire at 3 pm, unveiling the champion.
Transportation
Located at No 2000 Yining Road, Jiading district, the Shanghai International Circuit will be open as usual from April 19 to 21. Spectators can arrive by taking Metro Line 11 to Baiyin Road Station and Shanghai Circuit Station.
Qiangsheng Transportation Co Ltd will open a round-trip temporary line between the Shanghai International Circuit and Hongqiao Railway Station from April 19 to 21. The timetable is subject to the "Nong Hao Zhi Xing" mini program.

Please arrive at the circuit as early as possible to allow time for security checks.

April 19: 8:30 am - 5 pm
April 20: 8:30 am - 5 pm
April 21: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Please bring your ID card [including children], while foreigners with passports go to the manual service area to complete verification.
Four ticket gates 1, 2, 3, and 9 will be open while ticket gate 3 is restricted to spectators in stand C.
All ticket gates allow the same ticket holder who meets the ticket-checking requirements to enter and exit repeatedly.
Long-handled umbrellas, flagpoles, unmanned aerial vehicles, public address equipment, unauthorized professional photographic equipment, triangular brackets, and other prohibited items are prohibited in the circuit.
Other events
To further enrich the event and add to the spectator experience, the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix will also hold the Checkered Flag Music Carnival for the first time.
With music, food, and interactive experiences, fans will be able to fully embrace a fusion of pop music and racing culture while watching the Grand Prix.
The 2024 Shanghai Auto Culture Festival will also be held from April 19 to May 31, spreading automotive culture, boosting the economy in related industries, and widening the impact of the Grand Prix, putting Shanghai in the global spotlight.
