Completed in March 2006 and open to the public free of charge, the Shanghai Auto Expo Park sprawls across an area of 76.67 hectares.
The park is divided into two main sections – the Tour and Leisure Area and the Exhibition and Expo Area.
It also incorporates three key projects – the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center, the Shanghai Auto Museum, and the EV-AI Harbor.
Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center
The Shanghai Automotive Exhibition Center includes north and south exhibition halls totaling 24,023 square meters.
These single-story, column-free exhibition halls feature an impressive span of 55 meters and a height of 11 meters.
Additionally, the conference complex spans 36,072 square meters, standing at a towering height of 30 meters, with six floors aboveground and one floor below.
Shanghai Auto Museum
The Shanghai Auto Museum opened in January 2007 with an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters.
The museum stands as China's first specialized museum of its kind. Divided into four sections – history, collection, exploration, and temporary exhibitions – the museum showcases over 100 cars from nearly 50 carmakers.
The museum provides a trendy venue for enthusiasts to explore and learn, while also offering young visitors an opportunity to gain knowledge about the science and technology of automobiles.
EV-AI Harbor
As the first international pilot zone for electric vehicles in China, EV-AI Harbor showcases the visionary blueprint for future automobiles.
