Under the testing of China's first mobile hydrogen quality testing vehicle developed by Shanghai-based Hytrace, the Yongli Hydrogen Production Plant recently successfully produced qualified green hydrogen.
The hydrogen production plant transports the qualified green hydrogen through pipelines to the Yongli Comprehensive Energy Station. Additionally, hydrogen can be transported to nearby refueling stations using long tube trailers, making it available for multiple vehicle types. This is the first case of the successful integration of green hydrogen production, storage, transportation, refueling, and quality testing into one innovative ecological project in the hydrogen energy industrial chain in China.
In May, the mobile hydrogen quality testing vehicle was officially put into operation in the Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai. The vehicle integrates multiple analytical devices into a unified system, creating a mobile, fast, reliable, and cost-effective hydrogen testing platform. The highly integrated and intelligent testing system enables on-site determination of all hydrogen gas impurities in less than 30 minutes.
Hytrace was established in Anting town in Shanghai's Jiading district last year. The company specializes in developing instruments for analyzing and testing trace impurities in hydrogen gas products. It operates a nearly 1,000-square-meter laboratory at Jiading Hydrogen Park and has contributed to several national key projects and hydrogen energy testing standards.
