The fourth China Intelligent Sensing Conference commenced in Jiading district, Shanghai, on Sept 10, exploring new opportunities and trends in the sensor industry.
Experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from various sectors explored sensor infrastructure, application scenarios, innovative technologies, and market trends. They delved into advancements in infrared sensor technology and the future of intelligent driving, sharing key industry insights.
An important highlight was the establishment of the Jiading Integrated Circuit Industry Chain Alliance. Comprising local government, leading enterprises, research institutes, and investment institutions, the alliance aims to extend, complement, and strengthen the local integrated circuit industrial chain.
Certificates were awarded to alliance members who are committed to achieving technological self-reliance and integrating resources such as technology, talent, and funds. Yuan Rong, assistant to the Chairman of Shanghai Silicon Industry Group, emphasized the alliance's role in driving the rapid development of the domestic integrated circuit industry.
Jiading, a crucial part of Shanghai's integrated circuit layout, focuses on areas like intelligent sensors, IoT chips, and automotive chips. The event saw 14 companies signing agreements for integrated circuit projects with the Jiading Industrial Zone.
The Shanghai Automotive Chip Engineering Center in Jiading also signed agreements with 12 leading automotive chip enterprises at the event, aiming to accelerate the localization of vehicle-standard chips.
