The 2024 Aptiv Supply Chain Collaboration Summit, themed "In China, For China", was held in Anting town, Jiading district in Shanghai on Dec 4. Nearly 300 supplier representatives attended to discuss industry trends, strengthen partnerships, and develop China's automotive ecosystem.
Aptiv, having transitioned from a traditional auto parts manufacturer to a tech company specializing in automotive electrification and intelligence, aims to expand its China business by 50 percent over the next five years. Jiading is fostering a high-quality automotive industry environment, with Aptiv as a key player.
Keynote speeches covered Aptiv's market position, business developments, and supply chain strategies. Discussions included advancements in electronic architecture, connector systems, and intelligent driving technologies, addressing challenges like market price wars and localization strategies.
To honor outstanding suppliers, Aptiv presented awards such as the "Outstanding Localization Award", "Best Partner Award", "Innovation Award", "Excellence Award", and "Pinnacle Award" to 40 companies.
