Zhouqiao Old Street in Jiading district, Shanghai, is set to celebrate this year's Lantern Festival with a series of events on Feb 12.
Fish Lantern Parade: 18:30 - 19:30

One of the highlights is the Fish Lantern Parade, beginning at the South Street entrance and passing through Denglong, Baoqing, Jichuan, and Defu Bridges. Visitors can join directly at the street's entrance.
Celebration with international guests: 16:30 - 19:00
International guests will try their hands at making fish lanterns, printing New Year pictures, and solving lantern riddles, experiencing the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Ancient-style role-playing tour: 16:00 - 18:00
Families can dress in traditional Chinese attire and role-play as novice merchants, completing tasks to earn silver notes that can be exchanged for gifts. The tour also includes joining the Fish Lantern Parade for a close-up experience of this intangible cultural heritage item.
Intangible cultural heritage market: 15:30 - 19:30
Minqing Street will host a market featuring a number of Jiading's intangible cultural heritage items, including bamboo carving, steamed cakes, and fabric dyeing techniques.
Lantern-making workshops, lantern riddle-solving games, and interactive "fortune" passing activities will also be available.
