At Arab Health 2025 in Dubai, United Imaging Group, a leading medical technology firm from Jiading district, Shanghai, showcased its range of advanced medical imaging and diagnostic equipment. Over 100 countries and regions were represented at the event, which is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

United Imaging's exhibit included the international debut of its uOrigin hearing aids and the uMetaGenesis medical equipment and data management platform. "Currently, 90 percent of medical information is imaging data, accounting for 70 percent of hospitals' total data volume," said Xue Min, chairman of United Imaging Group. "Traditional imaging workflows lack digital tools, leading to suboptimal visualization and low data processing efficiency."

To address these challenges, the company introduced the uMetaImaging solution, which uses ultra-realistic rendering technology to convert medical imaging data into intuitive 3D models. This innovation aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and communication between doctors and patients. Additionally, the solution's smart assistants offer personalized imaging report interpretations and robust support for clinical diagnosis and research.

The uMetaGenesis platform, utilizing digital twin and extended reality technologies, aims to revolutionize medical equipment management by providing real-time device operation data, allowing for informed decision-making and optimized resource allocation.

"AI is becoming a transformative force in healthcare and medical imaging," said Professor Hakki M. Karakas, chairman of the Turkiye National Radiology Board. "In Turkiye, the demand for imaging diagnostics is increasing, and United Imaging's AI-enabled products can significantly enhance workflow efficiency."

During the exhibition, United Imaging signed strategic cooperation agreements with several renowned medical institutions, including Saudi Arabia's Al Mana Medical Group, Turkiye's Sezin Hospital, and Malaysia's KPJ Healthcare Group. These partnerships mark the first time that "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" medical technology has been sold to Turkiye and signify a broader presence in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Sezin Hospital plans to focus on AI applications in cardiology, utilizing devices such as the world's first 5.0T whole-body MRI system, uMR Jupiter, and the 75cm ultra-large aperture 3.0T MRI, uMR Omega. In Kazakhstan, Orhun Medical has introduced multiple nuclear medicine innovations from United Imaging.

United Imaging has established its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and its Middle East regional headquarters in Dubai. The company has also set up subsidiaries or offices in Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan, embedding itself in local markets and extending its reach to nearly half of the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
