The Shanghai Grand Theatre square was alive with excitement on March 8 as the "Mecha Alliance" captivated audiences.
A variety of robots demonstrated the marvels of artificial intelligence, engaging in lively interactions with visitors. The G1 humanoid robot stole the show with its agile movements and for gifting roses to female attendees. "Receiving a rose from a robot is something I'll never forget," said Ms Fan, a delighted onlooker.
Children were particularly captivated by the four-legged robotic dog, which offered rides to young visitors. Six-year-old Guo Chentai, thrilled by the experience, noted, "It's steadier than riding a horse."
The event director, Pu Yanni, introduced 10 types of robots, including cleaning and delivery models, providing a glimpse into the future. "We aim to immerse the public in the possibilities of the future," Pu explained.
