The 2025 F1 Chinese Grand Prix recently drew motorsport fans from around the world to Jiading district, Shanghai, with a group of visitors from Spain, Russia, South Korea, and Thailand embarking on an automotive-themed adventure.
Their journey began at the Shanghai International Circuit, which is the venue for the F1 race. They enjoyed panoramic views of the track from the B Grandstand, where visitors can witness the thrilling start of 20 cars and exciting overtakes.
"The racing atmosphere is electrifying in the F1 arena!" exclaimed Elle from Spain, capturing the moment on her phone. "I can't wait to see who will win the championship!"
Beyond F1, automotive excellence continued at the SAIC Volkswagen Anting Testing Ground in Jiading. As China's first international-standard passenger car testing facility, it features nearly 30 kilometers of roads with varying conditions. The visitors experienced high-speed loops and dynamic test tracks in Audi A7Ls and Teramont Pros.
Following Shanghai's automotive cultural tourism route, visitors also explored the Shanghai Auto Museum and enjoyed vintage car rides. Models like the Hongqi and Cadillac DeVille Convertible transported them through time, immersing them in the golden era of automotive culture.
Anna from Russia said, "It's my first time in a vintage car. It feels so retro, like a movie. Jiading's automotive culture is impressive, and I'd love to bring some friends here."
