The upgraded GEN3 Evo car is set to debut at the 2025 Shanghai E-Prix, a part of the Formula E World Championship, at the Shanghai International Circuit.
It boasts 30-second, 600-kilowatt pit stop fast-charging capabilities and a top speed of 322 km/h. The GEN3 Evo not only inherits the GEN3's excellence but also introduces innovations that redefine electric racing.
Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.86 seconds, the GEN3 Evo is 36 percent faster than its predecessor and 30 percent quicker than current F1 cars, making it the fastest-accelerating single-seater under the FIA. Its advanced all-wheel-drive system, combined with a 350-kilowatt power output, enhances control during critical race phases.
The GEN3 Evo's revolutionary fast-charging technology uses a 600-kilowatt interface, replenishing at least 10 percent of its battery in 30 seconds, adding new layers of strategic depth to racing. Its 600-kilowatt energy recovery system also supplies 50 percent of the energy used during a race.
Aerodynamically refined, the car features an adjustable front wing for improved downforce and reduced turbulence, while optimized Hankook tires offer 5-10 percent more grip. With a motor efficiency exceeding 90 percent, the GEN3 Evo exemplifies Formula E's commitment to sustainability, incorporating recycled materials and adhering to a zero-carbon footprint.
