The 2025 Shanghai E-Prix, a part of the Formula E World Championship, is set to take place from May 31 to June 1, featuring the 10th and 11th races of the season at the Shanghai International Circuit, with 11 top teams and 22 world-class drivers showcasing the latest electric racing technology. Here’s your comprehensive guide to the event.

Shanghai International Circuit, No 2000 Yining Road, Jiading district

Transportation

Subway: Take Metro Line 11 to Shanghai Circuit Station and enter through the designated spectator entrance.

Driving: Follow on-site parking instructions to park at P3 or Water Square Parking, then proceed to the designated spectator entrance on foot.

Entry rules

(1) Electronic tickets: The event utilizes electronic tickets, one per person. All spectators must verify their identities on the official platform and enter the circuit via a facial scan.

(2) Valid Identification: Upon reaching the ticket verification area, spectators must present original valid identification, such as an ID card or passport, to have their face successfully scanned. Spectators without original valid ID must undergo on-site identity verification to gain entry.

(3) Children and youth attendance: Each ticket holder may bring one child under six years old (born on or after Jan 1, 2019) without occupying a seat. Attendance is not recommended for children under three. One single-day youth ticket allows for one accompanying youth aged 6 to 18.

Audience guide

(1) Once sold, tickets cannot be exchanged or replaced. Please obtain tickets through official channels, as resale for profit is not legally protected.

(2) Minors aged 6-18 must enter with a guardian, who assumes responsibility for the minors' behavior.

(3) Spectators must use designated paths to enter and exit and sit in their assigned seats.

(4) As the event is outdoors, severe weather may cause delays or cancellations. Ticket holders accept that no refunds will be issued under such circumstances.

(5) The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Bringing in materials that promote violence, hatred, discrimination, or conflict with commercial interests.

Bringing animals into the venue or parking area.

Bringing weapons, fireworks, air horns, laser devices, glass items, or any potential weapons.

Bringing devices that could infringe on intellectual property.

Engaging in gambling based on tickets or results.

Entering under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Smoking outside designated areas or moving outside specified zones.

Selling goods or services without permission.

(6) Spectators acknowledge the importance of safety management and agree to the collection and storage of personal information for ticketing and safety purposes.

Safety tips

Motor racing involves unforeseen risks, and just being in the audience can be dangerous. Ticket holders must adhere to all announcements, warnings, and regulations, accepting responsibility for any risks associated with inappropriate behavior.
