Shanghai's Guyi Garden in Jiading district has been enchanting visitors with its "Double Elegance" bonsai exhibition featuring wintersweet and plum blossoms. The exhibition is scheduled to run until early March.
The bright yellow wintersweet stands out against the pink and white plum blossoms, creating a scene that evokes a traditional Chinese painting.
"This is the perfect time to see the wintersweet in its bright yellow glory, and the pink plum blossoms are gorgeous," said a visitor surnamed Wang.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the exhibition features Chinese New Year elements, including colorful ceramic horse figurines and "Fu" character decorations, symbols of good fortune for the Year of the Horse.
The exhibition features over 100 bonsai displays, including the impressive Longyou plum bonsai with branches that cascade like a dragon adorned with blossoms. Visitors can also take photos with the beautifully arranged miniature bonsai near the Flower God Temple.
